The Month of the First Fruits
1- First week – Giving God the first fruits of our words. (Prayer)
Orientation: During this week we are encouraging you to start out the day by giving your first words to Jesus. The time you wake up in the morning lift your voice in prayer to the Lord giving Him the honor to be the first person to hear your voice. Pray a prayer of dedication of your life to God. Present yourself as a sacrifice to the Lord and offer yourself as a living offering. We recommend that during this week you only speak on the phone the necessary things and try not to engage in conversations that will take your focus out of God’s voice. Take the first week of the year to speak and to hear what the Lord has for you for the year ahead.
Read and memorize some of these verses.
Day 1 - Psalm 40:3 (English Standard Version)
He put(A) a new song in my mouth,a song of praise to our God.Many will(B) see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.
